A compound verb is made up of two or more words that function as a single verb. A compound verb can be a phrasal verb or a prepositional verb that behaves either lexically or syntactically as a single verb. Compounding or composition is the process of combining two free morphemes into one word and form a new meaning. This compound is different from the phrase. The phrase is a combination of words and formed through a process of syntax. The compound formed a meaning, while the phrase formed more than one meaning. This compound can be divided based on the morphological form and the relationship of the components. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang mengubah berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, dunia perkamusan juga berubah. Kini telah banyak dikembangkan kamus elektronik, baik dalam bentuk daring maupun luring. Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) bentuk daring pertama kali diluncurkan pada tahun 2008 yang didasarkan pada edisi III dan pada 28 Oktober 2016 telah diluncurkan edisi V. Kamus bahasa Belanda Dikke Van Dale telah diterbitkan dalam bentuk luring sejak 1999, sedangkan bentuk daringnya juga baru diterbitkan pada tahun 2008. Salah satu tujuan pengembangan kamus dalam bentuk elektronik adalah untuk memberikan kemudahan kepada para penggunanya. Dalam makalah ini dibahas perbandingan kamus elektronik bentuk daring KBBI edisi V dengan Dikke Van Dale edisi 2016. Perbandingan dipusatkan pada struktur kamus, yaitu halaman depan dan struktur inti ganda yang terdiri dari struktur makro dan mikro. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan KBBI belum menyediakan beberapa informasi penting dan masih ada aksesibilitas yang tidak memudahkan penggunanya. Indonesia has its national language which is used in daily life. The national language becomes the part of curriculum taught in schools. However, English is also taught since elementary schools until college. It has sought as a compulsory subject. Since English is not spoken in daily life, the students feel difficult to master English well. The first language affected their English learning. The solution to the problem is that teacher should have fruitful strategy to teach English to the students. Having contrastive analysis of copula will be useful for the teachers. They will be able to understand the different things appeared among the two languages. Moreover, they will know what methods and techniques appropriate for them to apply in their class.
